Obtain Contact Information Job Summary Maximus is currently seeking a Senior Committee Facilitator for a bid opportunity. This program supports the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) in overseeing the national organ transplant system through the Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN). The OPTN establishes policies that ensure organs are allocated fairly and based on medical need, with a strong focus on transparency, data-driven decision-making, and equitable outcomes. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting committees and workgroups that drive policy development. You will coordinate meetings, manage documentation, facilitate discussions, and ensure that committee activities are executed efficiently and in alignment with federal requirements. This position is highly collaborative, requiring close partnership with internal teams, government stakeholders, and committee leadership. This is a remote position. Please note that this position is contingent upon bid award.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform in-depth and routine administrative functions including; daily support of office administration, calendar management, meeting logistics, travel arrangements, as well as preparing check requests, expense reports, and vendor invoices. Type or generate letters and other documents as necessary. Greet office visitors, answer and direct telephone calls, provide back-up relief to the receptionist. Retrieve and log faxes. Prepare outgoing shipments and log incoming shipments. Assist administrative manager with inventory of office supplies and furniture as well as other facilities issues. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the administrative manager as well as other departmental initiative for call center quality assurance, training, risk management, and quality control. Minimum Requirements '- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. 4-6 years of relevant professional experience required. '- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting committees, leadership teams, or structured workgroups Experience coordinating meetings end-to-end (scheduling, agendas, materials, summaries) Proven ability to facilitate or support leadership discussions and manage stakeholders Strong written communication skills, including clear meeting documentation Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Preferred:
