Job Description

Company Summary Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) is a tuition-free, online charter school for students in grades K-12 throughout Minnesota. MNCA's program is operated through a contract with Connections Academy, LLC, to provide the educational program and other services. Connections Academy, a division of Connections Education, is accredited by AdvancED, and MNCA is accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement. Short Description This hybrid role (two in-office days, three remote), the Administrative Assistant I provides administrative support across a variety of responsibilities. Key duties include managing email and phone communications, completing data entry, and coordinating state testing sites, materials, and testing preparations. Responsibilities MCA State Testing Support Reserve hotel meeting rooms, conference rooms, and other testing locations to support statewide Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) events. Coordinate hotel accommodations and transportation, including rental vehicles, for staff administering assessments. Communicate with testing venues to confirm reservations, obtain required documentation, and collect receipts. Contact students and families to schedule testing appointments, provide testing information, and coordinate make-up testing opportunities. Prepare, organize, and pack testing materials for multiple testing locations at the St. Paul, MN office on Mondays and Fridays from February through May. Registrar Support Assist with collecting, organizing, and entering student data required for the Minnesota Common Course Catalog (MCCC) into the Student Information System (SIS), Qmlativ. Monitor reporting timelines and assist in meeting state reporting deadlines. Collaborate with school staff to resolve data discrepancies and maintain accurate student records. Assist the counseling team with administrative tasks related to student records, including processing incoming and outgoing transcript requests and entering transcript information into the learning management system, Pearson Online Classroom (POC). Process and track Postsecondary Enrollment Options (PSEO) paperwork to ensure timely submission and compliance with program requirements. Enter PSEO transcript information into the Pearson Online Classroom (POC). Additional Support Answer front desk phone calls during periods when the Receptionist is unavailable. Assist the Administrative Assistant team with special projects and initiatives Other duties as assigned
Note:
