Job Description

District Staff Assistant Representative Seth Magaziner (RI-02) seeks a District Staff Assistant in his Warwick, RI office for duties including but not limited to:
  • Providing a welcoming environment and positive first impression of the Office to constituents and visitors;
  • Managing the front office, including: answering phones and speaking directly with constituents, overseeing the district internship program, managing the guest intake process, and other duties as assigned;
  • Supporting the Member's correspondence by drafting letters and certificates of recognition for constituents and stakeholders;
  • Supporting the District Director with administrative duties for the Office;
  • Driving the Member to events and meetings during the workday, as assigned;
  • Attending events to staff or advance the Member, including on evenings and weekends, as assigned;
  • Assisting the District Director with other work and special projects, as assigned.
The District Staff Assistant reports to the District Director. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and own and maintain a vehicle registered in Rhode Island.
