Job Description

Pay:
$17.00 per hour. (FIRM ON PAY)
Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch.
Hours:
37.5 hours per week.
Location:
Aiken, SC.
Assignment type:
Long-term temporary contract.
Assignment length:
At least 6 months, with the possibility of extension. This role is not currently expected to become a full-time permanent position, although business needs could change. Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract opportunity in Aiken, SC. This role supports HR, Quality Assurance, and executive leadership with a variety of administrative, coordination, scheduling, and documentation tasks. This is a great opportunity for an organized administrative professional who enjoys variety, teamwork, and supporting multiple leaders in a professional government and public sector environment. The Administrative Assistant will play an important role in keeping processes moving smoothly, maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings, and supporting onboarding activities for new team members. This position offers a stable schedule, a collaborative work environment, and the opportunity to build valuable experience across human resources, quality assurance, executive administration, and office operations. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation processes, including coordinating schedules, preparing workbooks and resource materials, and finalizing onboarding calendars.
  • Collect, organize, and track corporate compliance forms, conflict of interest forms, and other required annual documentation.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Assurance supervisor and leadership team as needed.
  • Schedule meetings for the executive team and take accurate minutes during scheduled meetings.
  • Maintain fleet information, including entering mileage and coordinating vehicle distribution throughout the day.
  • Support general office administration, documentation, communication, and special projects as assigned. Required Qualifications and Skills
  • Support onboarding, orientation, compliance tracking, and administrative documentation.
  • Coordinate executive meetings, calendars, materials, and meeting minutes.
  • Assist HR, Quality Assurance, and leadership with daily administrative needs.
  • Maintain fleet records, mileage information, and vehicle coordination.
  • 1 to 2 years of administrative, clerical, office support, or related experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to use Adobe and multiple computer programs effectively.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with managers, team members, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information and compliance-related documentation. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience supporting HR, onboarding, executive administration, quality assurance, or compliance-related processes.
  • Experience taking meeting minutes and preparing professional documentation.
  • Prior administrative support experience in a government, public sector, or highly regulated office environment.
