- Varicella A state agency is seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide front-line support to individuals accessing public health services.
This position combines customer service, scheduling, data entry, and records management in a busy healthcare environment. Bilingual Spanish/English candidates are strongly preferred due to the need for bilingual client support, but candidates who are not bilingual will also be considered.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Greet clients and provide professional front-line assistance
- Answer calls and schedule appointments for new and existing clients
- Educate clients on program requirements and procedures
- Accurately process client information and maintain medical records
- Enter information into agency systems while following confidentiality requirements
- Provide general administrative and customer service support
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable working directly with the public in a healthcare setting
- Strong data entry and record-keeping skills
- Ability to handle confidential information appropriately
- Previous scheduling or administrative experience preferred
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred
