Uricchio Law Firm is a small Charleston personal injury law firm seeking a dependable, personable part-time legal assistant/case manager for a long-term position. This role is for someone who wants to build or continue a career in legal support—not someone looking for a temporary position while completing school or preparing for another profession. What you'll do You'll help manage personal injury cases from opening through settlement, including: Communicating with clients, insurance adjusters, medical providers, and other parties Requesting and following up on medical records, bills, liens, insurance information, and accident reports Monitoring treatment and case progress Keeping electronic files organized and up to date Tracking follow-ups and outstanding items Entering and monitoring case expenses Assisting with demand and settlement materials Scheduling appointments and handling day-to-day case administration Identifying missing information or issues that need attention and helping keep cases moving We use Clio Manage and modern AI-assisted tools to reduce repetitive administrative work. The role is less about monotonous document production and more about communication, judgment, organization, and keeping cases on track. This is a quiet, professional office environment well suited to someone who enjoys focused, independent work while still having access to other professionals in shared spaces throughout the day. What we're looking for Plaintiff-side personal injury experience is strongly preferred. Clio Manage experience is a plus, but not required. The right candidate should be comfortable with detailed work, established systems and procedures, client communication, changing priorities, and direct feedback. We also value someone who enjoys being connected to the Charleston community and building strong professional relationships. Schedule and compensation 20-30 hours per week , during weekday business hours. Exact schedule may vary depending on experience and availability. $19
