Job Description

Salary:
Starting at $19.27/hour, depending upon qualifications, plus benefits. South Dakota State University (SDState) is seeking a Senior Secretary for the Extension Field Operations department to join our team. This role will provide administrative support to the Extension Regional Center and the staff located there. SDState is the state's largest, most comprehensive university with over $94 million annual research expenditures, more than 200 academic programs and an enrollment of approximately 12,000 students. The university is part of a dynamic community for families, students, young professionals, and retirees, which offers an abundance of attractions and activities. As the outreach arm of our state's land grant, South Dakota State University, SDSU Extension is able to provide farmers, ranchers, agri-business people, communities, families and youth with the research-based information they need to succeed. This position is located in Winner, South Dakota. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
Job Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the regional center office. This includes Regional Center Office scheduling, Enforcing office procedures, rules, and policies to staff and public, and
