Department Biomedical & Translational Sciences Physical Location of Position (City) Vermillion Posting Text The Division of Biomedical & Translational Sciences seeks a full-time, 12 month Administrative Assistant to provide customer service to faculty, staff, and students by supporting the academic, research, administrative and some financial functions of the Dean's office. The successful candidate will be expected to assist in both administrative and financial needs specifically assisting with purchasing, shipping and receiving, and coordinating travel for faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate must have strong customer service and organizational skills, be team oriented, exhibit attention to detail, have the ability to multi-task, and be comfortable with the use of Microsoft Office products specifically Word, Outlook, and Excel. The USD Sanford School of Medicine has announced the move of the first 18 months of the M.D. program and the Division of Biomedical & Translational Sciences from Vermillion to Sioux Falls. Travel between sites may be required until the move is complete. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
