Job Description

About the role A family in the Brentwood, TN area (Nashville) is looking for a House Manager—part-time or full-time. Looking for a calm, capable right hand who keeps the household running smoothly. This is a busy and faith-driven family home with 2 kids (who are involved in extracurriculars during and out of school), and the right person will make everything feel handled so the family can focus on what matters most. This isn't a task-by-task cleaning job. We're looking for someone who sees the whole picture, takes ownership, and can become a true right hand for the household. Immediate start available. Part-Time vs
Full-Time Option Part-time :
5-6 hours a day, at least 3 days a week. The core of keeping the home running: tidying, laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, errands, and a few meals a week.
Full-time :
about 7-8 hours a day, 4-5 days a week. Everything above plus a fuller scope: regular housekeeping, grocery/household stocking, cooking, ironing, house projects, vendor coordination, and more — running the household end-to-end so the family's day-to-day is genuinely taken care of.
Weekdays only:
no weekends or major holidays , generally within a 8am-5pm window. Who you are Flexible and calm when the day shifts around Big-picture minded: you notice what needs doing before you're asked
Self-directed:
you don't need to be micromanaged Discreet and trustworthy with a family's home and privacy Warm and easy around kids Trustworthy, reliable, and consistent Pay $24-28/hour , depending on scope and availability. The more you can take on—full-time hours, regular housekeeping, and acting as a true right hand for the home—the higher end of the range we can discuss. What we ask Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license—you'll run errands and help with school pickups (rare, but the option is needed) Comfortable in a smoke-free household Willing to complete a background check and provide references Able to handle the physical parts of the role, light lifting, being on your feet, household cleaning Legally authorized to work in the U.S. Discretion and genuine respect for the family's privacy Nice to have You genuinely enjoy cooking and would like meals to be a real part of your week Experience running a home, nannying, or working as a personal assistant or house manager (this is not a nanny position, but the experience is a plus) Comfortable and confident around kids and their routines How to apply Send a short note about yourself, your relevant experience, your general weekly availability (and whether you're looking for part-time or full-time), and whether you can provide references. We'd love to hear what a well-run home looks like to you. We're hiring right away and will move quickly with promising candidates—including a relaxed coffee meet-up and a paid trial day before any offer.
