Full-Time, Contract Position Contingent Upon Contract Award About the Position Coastal Management Solutions is seeking a General Clerk II - Administrative Support to provide administrative, records management, data entry, and customer service support for Navy Personnel Command operations in Millington, Tennessee. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with sensitive information and government records. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently, follow established procedures, and maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast-paced administrative environment. What You'll Do Enter, update, verify, and maintain personnel and administrative information in government databases and systems Process personnel transactions, records requests, customer service inquiries, and administrative corrections Review documents for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures Create, maintain, organize, and update electronic and physical records Scan, index, digitize, and electronically archive documents Perform quality control reviews to identify discrepancies, duplicate records, and processing errors Maintain accurate logs, reports, databases, and tracking systems Respond to inquiries and assist with records retrieval and distribution Support shared mailboxes, ticketing systems, and other administrative workflows Prepare reports, status updates, meeting minutes, correspondence, and other administrative documents Provide professional customer service to military members, veterans, Navy organizations, and authorized third parties Assist with inventory tracking, supplies, records storage, and general office operations Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions Protect Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and other sensitive information Work collaboratively with government personnel and team members to resolve issues and improve administrative processes Support continuity of operations and other mission requirements as assigned
What We're Looking For Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED At least 2 years of administrative, clerical, records management, customer service, office support, military, or related experience Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to troubleshoot problems and exercise sound judgment Ability to work independently and as part of a team U.S. citizenship required Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable government security clearance investigation
Preferred Qualifications:

$16.50 - $17.50 per hour
