Office Receptionist / Administrative Assistant West Texas Plants - Alpine, Texas Position Summary West Texas Plants is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Office Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our customers, vendors, and employees. This position is responsible for managing the front office, answering phones, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with daily administrative tasks to keep the office running efficiently. Responsibilities Greet customers and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner. Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Respond to emails and customer inquiries. Process customer orders and payments. Assist with invoicing, filing, and data entry. Maintain organized office files and records. Schedule appointments and coordinate deliveries or pickups. Assist with inventory paperwork and office supplies. Support management with administrative projects as needed. Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers professionally. Keep the reception and office area clean and organized. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous receptionist, customer service, or office experience preferred. Strong communication skills. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to learn new software and office systems. Professional appearance and positive attitude. Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently. Bilingual Preferred Preferred Experience Retail or nursery experience is a plus. Experience answering multi-line phone systems. Physical Requirements Ability to sit or stand for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Ability to walk through nursery grounds when needed.
