We are seeking our next T esting Services - Coordinator who will be all-in on our mission and who will manage the daily operation of the Testing Center including, coordination of test administration, formulate and administer the testing policies for the College, supervise testing center staff and create schedules. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring a successful testing environment for students requirements.
EDUCATION
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field.
Preferred:
Master's Degree in appropriate field.
EXPERIENCE
Required:
Three (3) years of managerial or supervisory experience.
Preferred:
Three (3) years of experience working in a college student service setting. Coordinate test administration, articulation of assessment policies, and contracts with external agencies, etc. Formulate and administer the testing policies for the College in conjunction with AC policies, state regulations, and the Assessment and Remediation Committee. Supervise Testing Center staff. Manage department budget. Provide various student services such as test registration and preparation, provide accommodations, provide score reporting, conflict resolution, etc. Monitor and enforce compliance of student records policies and FERPA Establish and maintain rapport with students, staff, and other departments. Participate in and complete performance assessments/evaluations as assigned. Perform additional duties as required. Salary:
Amarillo College follows a lag pay strategy, with starting offers typically between the minimum and midpoint of the pay grade, rarely reaching the maximum to support long-term growth within each position. Pay grade 13 Amarillo College Pay Grades (salary is determined by Human Resources based on education, work experience and internal comparisons).
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to travel between offices and buildings, and requires the ability to lift, carry, push, pull and/or maneuver office supplies as needed.
Working Conditions:
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays, and varying events if necessary.)
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment, routinely uses standard office equipment (i.e. computers, phones, copy and fax machines, filing cabinets) and is in a high traffic area with continual interruptions. Software commonly used includes Microsoft Office, Colleague, and various other educational applications. Work may also be performed outside of the office and with little to no supervision.
