SOCIAL SERVICES SECRETARY
Location:
Center, Texas | Full-Time | Non-Exempt Position Tri-County Community Action, Inc. is accepting applications for a CSBG Secretary within the Social Services Department. The CSBG Secretary provides clerical, administrative, and client-service support for Community Services programs. Responsibilities include assisting clients with program intake applications, scheduling appointments, maintaining program records and files, preparing correspondence and reports, coordinating meetings, answering and directing telephone calls, and assisting with agency food distribution activities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required. Two to three years of customer-service experience preferred. Applicants should possess excellent organizational, communication, recordkeeping, and customer-service skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience working with low-income individuals and families is preferred. Experience with SHAH software is highly preferred.
