TITLE:
Office Clerk
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Office Clerk will be involved in both plant and office operations to ensure temporary, and employees are completing company required onboarding, training, and ongoing day-to-day operations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Previous experience in a manufacturing office environment.
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and with management.
Initiative to take on new responsibilities as necessary.
Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary.
Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Orientation of new employees temporary and permanent.
Manage temporary labor with local agencies.
Take care of phone messages.
Complete daily Absence Reports for all employees.
Complete on-boarding process for new employees.
Enter employees in the time clock.
Maintain records and files.
Update online spreadsheets and reports.
Help employees with training requirements.
Ensure documents, reports, spreadsheets and sent to appropriate personnel.
Work within the production floor as needed to direct employees.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION
Fast-paced production floor with exposure to machinery noise.
Must adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of
PPE. TRAINING
Must complete ongoing training as required.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION
Position consists of working in both an office setting and production environment.
