Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Assistant to support the daily operations of our busy mental health practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining smooth communication between clients and clinicians, managing administrative tasks, and ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors. This position offers an opportunity to work in a compassionate setting where patience, professionalism, and excellent communication skills are essential. Duties Serve as the first point of contact for clients, greeting patients warmly and professionally. Manage client communication through phone calls and in-person interactions, ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently and courteously. Maintain clear and effective communication with clinicians to coordinate schedules and appointments. Utilize computer literacy to perform various administrative tasks, including data entry, scheduling, and record keeping. Assist with general office duties such as filing, organizing documents, and managing correspondence. Work closely with clinicians to support the smooth operation of the practice while demonstrating patience and understanding in a busy mental health environment. Skills Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on client interaction. Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with common office software applications. Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail. Ability to remain patient and professional when working with clients and team members in a fast-paced setting. Ability to work collaboratively with clinicians and staff to ensure efficient office operations.
