Posting Information Requisition 202600320ST Title Student Employee-COM-Assistant / Conroe Location (Student Worker) Employee Class Student Employee College Work Study Position Yes Department Dept of Clinical Education Division Division of Academic Affairs Hours per week Up to 28 Hiring Rate $12/hr Preferred Student Classification Freshmen or sophomore Nature & Purpose of Position The selected Student Assistant will report to the Office of Clinical Education include but are not limited to: Sort and distribute mail and packages. Keep the front desk area clean and organized. Assist with various administrative tasks such as photocopying, scanning, shredding, data entry, mail merge, and assembly of recruitment materials. Run on-campus and off-campus errands as required. Assist with organizing supply closets and meeting rooms. Set up tables and chairs for events as well as resetting furniture in rooms as needed. Help set up catering for events. Be a reliable source of information about the organization and department for visitors. Maintain a positive, upbeat, and professional attitude when interacting with others. Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate location or person. Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner. Physically capable of lifting 25-50 lbs Additional duties may be assigned as necessary to support the team. Other Requirements for the Position Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. Strong organizational and time management skills. Must be organized, task-oriented, punctual. Professional demeanor. Preferred experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Applicants must be available to work 6-8 hours per day on assigned days. We will work around the student's class schedule.
