Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative, payroll, and human resources support in a busy office environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their workday and can effectively balance multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have strong computer skills, experience in office administration, and a working knowledge of payroll and human resources processes.
Responsibilities:
Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner. Provide administrative support to management and office staff. Assist with payroll processing and related documentation. Support human resources functions, including employee paperwork, onboarding, and record maintenance. Perform data entry and maintain accurate employee and company records. Create, update, and maintain spreadsheets, reports, and other office documents. Manage filing systems and ensure records are organized and up to date. Assist with special projects and additional office duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous administrative experience is required. Some human resources experience is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and QuickBooks is required. Payroll processing experience is preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Valid driver's license is required Pass a background check Pass a drug screen
