Job Description
Speech Language & Learning Services has a job opening for a part-time (30-39 hours weekly) administrative assistant with opportunity to learn medical billing, bookkeeping, and office management tasks. Work hours are flexible, Monday-Friday afternoons and evenings, generally 1:00-9:00 pm, and holidays off. We are looking for a friendly, positive personality with good written and verbal communication skills, and a candidate who is organized, detailed, self-motivated, a team player, and good with both children and adults with special needs and communication disorders. The ideal candidate will have computer skills including experience with Word, Excel, Adobe, Quickbooks, and Apple products. We will provide training on all office procedures, policies, equipment, and programs needed to be successful in this position. If you are interested in learning new skills, including medical billing, and working in a medical therapy practice, but thought you needed special certification, please inquire. We will train you, and no certification is necessary.
