Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our team in Nacogdoches, Texas. The successful candidate will provide administrative support, assist with daily office operations, and help ensure a professional and efficient work environment. This position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Schedule Full-time position Alternating work schedule of 40 hours one week and 36 hours the following week Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls. Greet visitors and provide excellent customer service. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and correspondence. Perform data entry and maintain accurate records. Schedule appointments and maintain office calendars. Organize and file documents, both electronically and physically. Assist with preparing reports, forms, and other office documents. Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Support management and staff with administrative tasks. Ensure confidential information is handled professionally. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous office or administrative experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, including data entry, spreadsheet management, document creation, and reporting. Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other office software. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and positive attitude.
