Job Description

The Administrative Assistant II for the Creative Arts and Service Professions Department has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, performing administrative and office support activities for programs within the Creative Arts and Service Professions Department. This position is also responsible for maintaining office supplies, assisting with requisitions, travel, receiving reports, supply ordering, and occasional correspondence. This is a non-exempt position that reports to LSCPA's Creative Arts and Service Professions Department. Provide general support to visitors and students Process and enter Electronic Personnel Actions Forms (EPAFs) Record accurate meeting minutes Maintain budget expense reporting Maintain office supplies and promotional items Receive, sort, and distribute department mail Assist with collection of required documents such as, class rolls, faculty schedules, etc. Other related duties, as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent Excellent customer service skills with great attention to detail Ability to operate office equipment: computer, calculator, copier, fax Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate degree in office administration or similar field Experience in higher education Microsoft Certifications (Word, Excel etc.)
Work Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week
