In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily functions, foster efficient communication, and enhance overall productivity. Your proactive approach and organizational skills will help create a welcoming environment for church members, staff, and guests alike. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your office management expertise, communication skills, and organizational prowess while contributing to a vibrant workplace. Duties Manage multi-line phone systems, answer inquiries promptly, and direct calls with professionalism and courtesy. Handle front-desk responsibilities, including greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and maintaining a tidy reception area. Perform data entry tasks with accuracy using spreadsheets and productivity software such as Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Organize files, maintain records, and oversee filing systems to ensure easy retrieval of documents. Oversee all church digital and print publications and mass communications via email/text/phone. Assist with calendar management, appointment setting, and coordinating meetings for staff and clients. Support bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software to track expenses and invoices. Provide excellent customer service by supporting client communication, addressing inquiries, and offering support via phone or email. Qualifications Be a Christ Follower actively involved in a local church. Be a cooperative, willing learner with a caring heart and a heart to serve. Be able to multitask while working independently and within a team. Ability to work and communicate effectively and professionally with people with various personality styles. Possess language skills necessary for editing, writing, design, layout, and proofing of written material - digital and print. Proven experience with office management, clerical tasks, and administrative support in a professional setting. Strong computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and data entry. Experience with Canva.com and website content management systems is preferred Prior Social Media Management experience a plus. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and manage time effectively. Exceptional communication and editing skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with multi-line phone systems, phone etiquette, and front desk operations. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information discreetly while maintaining professionalism at all times. Ability to maintain and procure requested office, ministry staff and kitchen inventory items regularly and as requested. Willingness to assist church pastoral staff with projects when requested. Openness to other duties as assigned.

From $18.00 per hour
