In this role, you'll be the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and team members while providing essential administrative support that helps our departments deliver outstanding care. As a Department Assistant, you'll: Welcome patients and visitors with professionalism and a friendly attitude. Answer incoming phone calls and route messages accurately and efficiently. Provide administrative and clerical support to your assigned department. Assist with scheduling and coordinating departmental activities. Enter and maintain accurate information in computer systems. Help manage department mail and correspondence. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAA guidelines at all times. Support teammates with a variety of projects and daily tasks. Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, coworkers, and community partners.
