Medical Assistant / Front Office Float - North Float The Texas Institute for Neurological Disorders is seeking a Medical Assistant / Front Office Float to join our growing team. This North Float position may require weekly travel between Sherman, Denison, McKinney, and Durant, OK . We are a dynamic, growing practice looking for a dedicated team member to fill this multifaceted role. Medical Assistants are an essential part of our patient care process and play a key role in supporting our mission to serve the local community with high-quality neurological care. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to build your career, with potential for special procedure training and professional growth at TIND. The ideal candidate is organized, efficient, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment while working collaboratively with providers and coworkers. Requirements At least 1 year of Medical Assistant experience Proficient typing skills and general computer knowledge Ability to quickly learn computer-based medical systems and protocols EMR experience preferred, especially eClinicalWorks Strong multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment Bilingual is a plus Front Office Duties and Responsibilities Schedule appointments, collect payments, and scan paperwork Answer inbound telephone calls and assist patients for multiple providers Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers Perform other related duties as assigned Medical Assistant Duties and Responsibilities Room patients, take vital signs, and accurately input data into charts Answer inbound telephone calls and assist patients Provide excellent customer service Maintain and support patients' rights to care, privacy, and respect Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and coworkers Perform other related duties as assigned
