Primary Purpose:
Responsible for maintaining student records at the campus level. Process student enrollment, transfers, and withdrawals for the campus. Provides reception and clerical assistance for the efficient operation of the campus office. Ensures the efficient operation of the campus office and provides clerical services for the campus administrative staff.

High school or GED
Special Knowledge/Skills:
Ability to maintain accurate and auditable records Ability to use personal computer and software to develop or maintain spreadsheets and databases Proficient word processing and file maintenance skills Knowledge of basic accounting principles Ability to follow written instructions Ability to operate multi-line phone system Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Experience:
Three years clerical experience preferred
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Records, Reports, and Correspondence Maintain physical and computerized records including student cumulative folders, progress and failure reports, class rosters, schedule changes, and attendance records, tuition payments, sick leave reports, employee roster, mailing lists, and time sheets. Process new student records, including setting up cumulative folders, and entering student data into appropriate databases. Process and transmit requests for student information to other schools. Enroll, withdraw, and transfer students and process applicable records. Assist campus administration with the preparation of reports and student data information. Maintain an accurate student/teacher ratio. Prepare written correspondence, forms, or reports using personal computer. Maintain a daily teacher attendance log and records for substitute teachers (AESOP). Monitor and process personnel time records including leave requests and reports. Compile information and submit to central office according to established deadlines. Maintain school calendar of events. Organize student transportation. Monitor district radio communication. Notify maintenance of repair and service needs. Communicate with teachers to assist with the scheduling of teacher conferences. Reception and Phones Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff. Greet and direct campus visitors. Assist parents in checking students in and out of school. Receive, sort, and distribute mail, messages, documents, and other deliveries. Assist with the receipt and distribution of student materials. Maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes. Accounting and Inventory Perform routine bookkeeping tasks including simple arithmetic operations to maintain campus budget records. Prepare purchase orders. Receive, store, and issue supplies and equipment. Prepare and make cash deposits for activity account(s) and cafeteria. May be responsible for maintenance of activity checkbook(s) and ledger(s). Maintain inventory of fixed assets, equipment, and supplies. Other Administer medication to students, check temperatures, notify parents of student illness, and keep accurate records of administered medications. Train office aides as needed Maintain confidentiality of information. Other duties as assigned
