Job Overview Focus Point Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate, organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the daily operations of our growing behavioral health practice. This position serves as the first point of contact for clients, families, referral sources, and community partners, playing a critical role in creating a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, demonstrates excellent customer service skills, maintains strict confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting. Experience in behavioral health, mental health, or substance use disorder treatment is preferred but not required. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary front desk representative by warmly greeting clients, visitors, and vendors while ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. Answer and manage a multi-line phone system, respond to inquiries, schedule appointments, and direct calls to appropriate clinical and administrative staff. Register new clients, verify demographic and insurance information, collect required documentation, and maintain accurate electronic client records. Schedule client appointments and coordinate provider calendars while ensuring timely communication regarding cancellations, rescheduling, and follow-up appointments.
