About the RoleThe Administrative Assistant is primarily responsible for performing a wide range of administrative tasks, which are routine in nature; filing, typing, verification of information, performs daily administrative duties including the researching and preparation of various reports.
POSITIONS ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Filing, scheduling meetings, and providing secretarial and administrative skills to support the department. Performs composition and typing of memos, correspondence, reports, contracts, and other legal documents/forms in a timely and accurate manner. Take, transcribe, and distribute minutes for other assigned meetings and meeting notifications/scheduling. Processes incoming/outgoing mail. Clerical work. Assists department with special projects as required. Demonstrates ability to be team player. All other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Ability to remain calm, even under the most stressful of situations. Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner. Must be detail-orientated; accuracy is imperative. Ability to meet deadlines; customer focused. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. Ability to be an effective team member and display initiative. Proficient with MS Word and Excel. Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Must possess a fundamental understanding of the standard concepts, practices and procedures of administrative functions. Prefer experience working in health care. Prefer 1-2 years experience with administrative Why Join Legent Health?
