Work Schedule:
15 hours per week, Monday through Friday; occasional weekends and nights for event support will be required.
Desired Length of Employment:
Fall 2026 to Fall 2027, preferably
Pay Rate:
$8/hour
Key Components:
This Missions Assistant will provide support for the day-to-day administrative operations of the Missions department, including helping with trip paperwork and logistics for the 35+ trips the department handles each year.
Job Description:
  • Assist Missions team with administrative logistics, including monitoring paperwork, compiling feedback, and communicating with team leaders
  • If necessary, assist Missions team with recruitment for planned trips
  • Prepare for and help execute Missions Week events
  • Assist with other events in the MSPL office, including local service, as needed
  • Other duties as assigned by MSPL staff This description reflects management's assignment of essential functions.

Applicant must be able to:
  • Work independently (following training)
  • Pay particular attention to detail
  • Perform clerical work and data tracking
  • Be reliable, organized, and responsible for completing assigned tasks
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and sensitive situations
  • Lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
  • Be an approved Baylor Driver (preferred, not required)
