Job Description

Ensure the efficient day-to-day operation of the childcare center by managing administrative functions, maintaining accurate records, coordinating office procedures, and partnering with the Business Operations Manager and Center Director to support staff, families, and center operations. Supervise and oversee the Front Desk, including answering phones, scheduling tours and greeting guests, parents and children. Must be comfortable dealing with small children.
Perform general administrative support duties:
typing, word processing, spreadsheets, logging childcare tuition into Brightwheel, maintaining files both locally and online and answering correspondence. Become knowledgeable in using success hubs, banner, purchasing, etc. Assist Director in day to day scheduling; including schedule changes, drop in requests and shift coverages. Become familiar with KidKare software and the Federal Food program; perform data entry and track meals and attendance. Additional Duties Document annual training hours for licensing. Assist director and CCAMPIS coordinator in coordinating family events Provide communications for and follow up with current projects. Order office supplies and childcare supplies and maintain office equipment. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. General understanding of accounting practices and procedures Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive. Proven ability to learn new software applications quickly. Organizational ability with particular attention to detail. Dependable, punctual, and professional in appearance. Require occasional physical lifting of up to 50 pounds. Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree or Bachelor's Degree Office experience with a working knowledge of office procedures, supervisory experience, and willingness to work as a team member. Demonstrated knowledge and success in general office practices, etc. This position is contingent on funding.
