Administrative Assistant (20 to 40 hrs/week)

South Jordan, Utah Schedule:
Part-time or Full-time Compensation:
$18-22 per hour, depending on experience

Opportunity to transition to full-time based on performance and business needs About the Company We are a growing General Contracting company based in South Jordan, Utah. Our team supports a variety of construction and project-based services, and we are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented intern to support our administrative and operations functions. Position Summary The Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day office and operations activities, gaining hands-on experience in construction administration, scheduling, finance support, and customer coordination. This role is ideal for an experienced person or a recent graduate interested in business operations, project coordination, or construction management, with the opportunity to grow. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (AP/AR)
  • Support payroll preparation, including timecard tracking
  • Help manage inventory for the warehouse, including ordering and organization
  • Assist with job scheduling and coordination (who is working where and when) Coordinate deliveries and materials as needed
  • Answer and route customer calls; provide basic customer support
  • Perform filing, organizing, and general office administration
  • Support project coordination and follow-through on assigned tasks
  • Maintain calendars and scheduling for jobs and internal needs
Qualifications Required:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with email and Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on projects
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn Nice to
Have:
  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Exposure to payroll processes
  • Inventory management or ordering experience
