Koniag Professional Services, LLC a Koniag Government Services company , is seeking an Administrative Assistant (Intermediate) with a Secret security clearance to support KPS and our government customer in Arlington, VA. Intermediate Administrative Assistant:
Must have at least 12 months' experience, education, or training that approaches the techniques and requirements of the position as outlined in section 5.5. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
Administrative & Clerical Support:
Provides day-to-day clerical and administrative assistance across office functions. Operates office equipment such as copiers and fax machines. Sorts, routes, and prepares daily incoming and outgoing mail. Answers and directs phone calls and greets visitors, determining nature of visits and routing appropriately. Maintains office supply inventories and organizes storage areas. Performs end-of-day office security checks. Escorts cleaning staff and visitors as required. Continuous front door coverage during core hours; ensures backup coverage when away during breaks, lunch, etc.
Correspondence & Documentation:
Prepares, edits, and formats correspondence, memoranda, reports, and related documents. Tracks and manages correspondence and tasks in approved tracking systems. Drafts internal written products for supervisory review. Maintains electronic and hardcopy filing systems in accordance with organizational requirements.
Meeting & Event Support:
Schedules meeting rooms and provides setup support. Prepares slide decks, briefing binders, and meeting materials. Sets up conference rooms and supports onsite/offsite meeting logistics.
Facilities & Space Management:
Submits and tracks basic facilities and maintenance service requests. Performs routine physical security checks of the OIG occupied office space. Supports access control procedures and escorts individuals through secured areas and has the option of assisting during nonstandard business hours as needed, possibly requiring overtime. Assists with the organization and upkeep of shared spaces. Schedules and maintains calendars for shared meeting spaces. Coordinates with staff on workspace needs such as seating, equipment placement, and room usage.
Asset & Property Support:
Assists with the issuance, transfer, deployment, and turn in of accountable and nonaccountable assets. Supports annual, spot check inventories and basic asset management requirements.
Specialized Functions:
Performs payroll processing activities. Supports vehicle use and maintenance, including mileage/fuel reporting, minor repair scheduling, and accident reporting.
