9.5yo, 5yo A wonderful Arlington family is looking to hire a professional, organized, and proactive Family Assistant to support their household and two children, ages 9½ and 5. With both children in school until at least 1:00 PM, the mornings will primarily focus on household management, including grocery shopping, washing household linens and towels, dry cleaning drop-offs and pick-ups, coordinating with the family's housekeeper, and helping ensure the home stays organized and running smoothly. In the afternoons, the Family Assistant will transition into childcare, supporting the children with their routines, activities, and day-to-day needs. The family is looking for someone who is flexible, patient, and confident adapting their approach to each child, and previous experience working with children with ADHD would be a wonderful plus. The family also has a beloved 12-year-old dog, though a dedicated dog walker handles his regular walks. Driving is an important part of the role, and the family would prefer a candidate who can use their own vehicle for work-related driving, with gas reimbursement provided.
