Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Dental Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our patients. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service while managing front desk operations and ensuring the smooth flow of the office. Responsibilities Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner Greet patients and visitors upon arrival Check patients in for appointments and check them out after their visits Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments Verify patient information and update records as needed Collect payments and process insurance co-pays Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations Respond to patient questions and provide general office information Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, and managing correspondence Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous dental front desk experience but willing the train the right candidate (1+ years preferred) Knowledge of Dentrix software is a plus Excellent communication, phone, and customer service skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with computers and dental practice management software is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
