At Press Mechanical, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive business forward. In our Service Department, our coordinators keep that system running smoothly by managing our technicians. We're searching for someone who is eager to learn and jumps in wherever needed. The Service Department is growing and we need people who can grow with it. The coordinator will be responsible for coordinating schedules, prioritizing calls, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. The coordinators are responsible for providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Efficiently schedule and dispatch field technicians for service calls and projects Prioritize service requests based on urgency and location Communicate effectively with customers to confirm appointments and provide updates Coordinate with the team to allocate resources for emergency calls Monitor field technicians' progress and adjust schedules as needed Maintain accurate records of service calls and technician activities Schedule and coordinate service appointments, dispatch technicians, and manage work order assignments. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding service updates, timelines, and issue resolution. Create, track, and close work orders in the service management system (e.g.,Service Fusion and end-client software). Process and verify technician timecards, expenses, and material usage related to each job. Generate invoices based on completed work orders and ensure timely billing and follow-up. Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation. Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure they have the information and resources needed to complete jobs efficiently. Monitor job progress, escalate issues, and support the team in meeting deadlines Assist in inventory tracking, vendor coordination, and procurement as needed. Support general administrative duties related to service operations. Review dated and open work orders and close as needed. Preferred skills and qualifications Associate's degree or equivalent Experience in driving process improvement Able to communicate well in writing and verbally
