DEFINITION AND PURPOSE
: Provide professional service to participants as "first face" of the program. Manage data entry and review for internal and external services reporting client data as requested in a timely manner. Works with other agencies in the community to exchange client's services information. Provide follow-up services. Help to create partnerships with local organizations.

N/A Coordinates with: Receptionist, screeners, job placement staff, external agencies and other TAP Programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
: Performs initial data entry intake of program participants. Assist case managers in inputting data into the agency's Database. (EmpowOR) Reviews client data files for accuracy and completion of data by case managers. Assists with identification of referral needs for family members of participants. Provides information and referral services to participants and prospective households members. Attend Whole Family Case Management meetings, and handle correspondence regarding team efforts as requested. Compiles program reports for review by supervisor, directors, and other staff in time to meet established deadlines. Maintains up-to-date agency services and community services directory (i.e. 211 and EmpowOR). When reviewing client inquiries, staff will assure all the proper client information has been entered in order to make the proper internal and/or external referrals. Provides general office coverage including, but not limited to, answering telephones, greeting visitors, performing safety and health screenings of participants, visitors, and staff. Orders supplies and processes payables. Attend all training and meetings required. Other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Extensive data entry and reporting skills. Computer literate in Windows based programs and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong customer services skills. Excellent organizational skills. Good written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with various racial, economic and diverse backgrounds. Ability to work independently. Ability to maintain confidentiality. TRAINING, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum of a High School Diploma with at least 2 years-experience in data entry position. Two years' experience in customer services, human services, or related experience.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Must have a valid Virginia Operator's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation. Able and willing to travel when required. Must pass drug screening.
