2026-09-16 Purpose of Role The Services Coordinator is responsible for managing client interactions and ensuring the efficient operation of service programs, contributing directly to the organization's mission of helping those in need. The Services Coordinator is responsible for greeting clients, managing service programs, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities Client Interaction:
Greet services clients at the counter and meet their needs, providing customer service for programming such as emergency food bags, homeless needs, and clothing vouchers.
Data Management:
Take intake information at the time of service and enter all needed information for reporting purposes, including program overuse/abuse and residency verification.
Inventory Management:
Take inventory of all foods within the food pantry and service items for all programs, ensuring availability and planning accordingly.
Food Ordering:
Order food weekly and manage the ordering process, including adjusting orders before delivery dates.
Service Planning:
Plan specific days for services, such as homeless/household services on Tuesdays.
Weekly Soup/Salads:
Coordinate with the Executive Director to decide on weekly soup preparation and setup, ensuring proper timing and cleanup.
Performance Expectations Client Satisfaction:
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through effective service delivery and support.
Accurate Reporting:
Maintain accurate and timely data entry for all service interactions.
Inventory Accuracy:
Ensure accurate inventory counts and timely ordering of supplies.
Respectful Interaction:
Demonstrate the ability to work with a very fragile demographic in both a respectful and caring manner. Qualifications Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Previous experience in customer service or program coordination preferred.

None required. Working Conditions This role is based in Lyndonville, VT with standard working hours. Occasional adjustments may be required based on service needs. Occasional lifting of heavy items may be required.
