Description PeaceHealth is seeking a Administrative Specialist III - Operating Room for a Full Time, 1.00 FTE, Day position. The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $21.59 - $32.39. The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc. Job Summary Responsible for providing diverse clerical and/or administrative support in a variety of settings; work may include but is not limited to planning, organizing and coordinating communications, presentations, spreadsheets, basic project management, data and records management, etc. as defined within the scope of the role. May assist with overflow work from administrative and executive assistants, may also have receptionist responsibilities. Details of the Position Receives little instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments. Applies knowledge and independent judgment to complete a wide range of assignments and resolve problems. Provides guidance and training to other staff. Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. Applies knowledge of programmatic and administrative requirements. Frequent contacts include internal and external customers to gather information or provide information. Facilitates workflow for accurate completion of assignment/projects in accordance with work expectations. Performs other duties as assigned. What you bring

Formal business and/or secretarial training or experience Skills Proficient in Windows based PC applications (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). (Required) Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (Required) Strong organizational and analytical skills. (Required) Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects and display flexibility in a fast paced and changing work environment. (Required) Ability to work with office equipment. (Required) Basic accounting skills may be preferred. (Required) Working Conditions Consistently operates computer and other office equipment. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work. Predominantly operates in an office environment. Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information. The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
