Job Description

Building Secretary- Bilingual Spanish Required 8.0 hours/day @ Preschool

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

1. Provide support services to the building admin.

2. Serve as office manager and receptionist, and maintain all office records.

3. Maintain all student records and files.

4. Assume the appropriate bookkeeping for General Fund and ASB funds.

5. Responsible for building correspondence, including daily bulletin, letters from the

office, and building reports.

6. Maintain records and perform duties related to ordering, receiving, invoicing, and

inventory.

7. Help cover office phone calls, parent requests, and assist with visitors.

8. Interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions,

and procedure manuals.

9. Write routine reports and correspondence.

10. Maintain appropriate office area decorum (bulletin boards).

11. Greet all patrons and employees and direct them accordingly to their visit.

12. Other duties as assigned by the building principal and/or administrator.
