Job Description
Busy landscaping company seeks a dependable, highly organized, and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide part-time administrative support for our growing business. This role is well suited for an individual who communicates professionally, takes pride in accuracy, and enjoys supporting both office operations and field team coordination in a fast-paced service environment. The Administrative Assistant will assist with scheduling crews, customer appointments, site visits, and follow-up communications. Responsibilities will also include providing general office support such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, maintaining files, entering data, organizing paperwork, and helping ensure day-to-day office operations run efficiently. In addition, this position will support basic human resources duties, including employee paperwork, onboarding coordination, record keeping, and communication with staff. The role will also include assisting with quality assurance by following up on completed work, tracking customer feedback, and helping confirm that jobs are completed according to company standards. The Administrative Assistant will help monitor estimating follow-up by contacting prospective customers, tracking pending estimates, and helping move opportunities through the sales process. This position requires regular coordination with management and field teams to support clear communication, accurate information, and efficient daily workflow. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers, employees, and management. The successful applicant should be comfortable using a computer, email, phone systems, and basic office software, and should be able to manage multiple tasks while maintaining accurate records and following established procedures. Previous experience in office administration, customer service, scheduling, human resources, or the landscaping industry is helpful, but not required. This is a part-time position, and training will be provided for the right candidate.
