They are now seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at their Sumas, Washington facility. What You'll Be Doing As Production Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day production operation, ensuring the plant consistently delivers exceptional results in safety, quality, productivity, cost, and customer service. You'll work closely with leaders across Quality, Maintenance, HR, and Logistics to optimise manufacturing performance while developing and mentoring production supervisors and operators.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading, coaching and developing Production Supervisors and manufacturing employees Driving a strong culture of safety and ensuring compliance across all production activities Partnering with Quality to continually improve manufacturing processes and product quality Working alongside Maintenance to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime Supporting Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives and reliability improvements Collaborating with Shipping & Receiving to optimise production schedules and customer service Championing Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen events, 5S initiatives and continuous improvement projects Working with HR on performance management, employee engagement, succession planning and workforce development Ensuring effective employee training across safety, quality and manufacturing processes Monitoring operational performance and implementing improvements that increase efficiency, reduce waste and improve productivity Building a positive, accountable and highly engaged manufacturing culture What We're Looking For We're looking for a proven manufacturing leader who enjoys being visible on the production floor and leading by example.
