Job Description

POSITION TITLE
Employee Administration Assistant
REPORTS TO
Production Managers FLSA:
Non-Exempt/Hourly
PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
The Employee Administrative Assistant is responsible for daily attendance tracking, GMP oversight, and maintaining employee records across multiple warehouse departments, while serving as a key point of contact for general employee communication.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The essential functions listed below are not intended to reflect all duties that may be assigned to this position. Borton & Sons, Inc. may augment duties, including essential functions, at its discretion. Maintain accurate and complete employee records within the Team Builder system for various department within warehouse operations, including attendance tracking, documentation of violations, and issuance of appropriate disciplinary actions. Review, process, and document employee time-off requests, including approvals and denials. Conduct GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) inspections and walkthroughs; document, report, and follow up on violations as necessary. Document and communicate workplace concerns and grievances to appropriate departments, which may include but not limited to: Production, Safety, and Human Resources. Provide administrative and operational support to Human Resources, Safety, and other departments as assigned. Maintain strict confidentiality of employee records, sensitive information, and workplace matters at all times. Provide professional, high-quality customer service to employees, supervisors, and management. Build and maintain positive working relationships through effective communication, teamwork, and consistent enforcement of company policies and procedures. Communicate regularly with management regarding activities, issues, and any significant concerns. Attend meetings, training sessions, and required courses as needed. Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS
Strong verbal/written communication skills required - both English and Spanish. Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines. Action oriented with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Work independently in the absence of supervision and efficiently carry out assignments. Demonstrated, exceptional customer service skills. Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). One (1) to two (2) years related experience preferred.
EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
High School Diploma or GED required.
WORKING CONDITIONS
This position requires sitting, standing, and walking, potentially for long periods of time, as required by the task. A large share of work is completed using standard computer/office equipment. Occasional lifting related to role of up to 25 pounds.

Pay:
$17.50 - $19.00 per hour
