Job Description
We are a family-owned distribution company in Yakima, WA. We are looking for an Office Secretary that is highly organized, tech saavy (must know how to use excel) and has a willingness to learn new skills! A little about us... we have been in business for over 25 years and operate across multiple states. As an Office Secretary, some of your responsibilities will include: Administrative tasks (answering phones, e-mails, scanning paperwork, etc) Basic accounting and data entry tasks (including daily and weekly reports) Invoicing and Billing Inventory Pricing Assisting customers over the phone or in person Partnerning with our Sales Representatives to ensure customer satisfaction Partnering with Human Resources to onboard new employees and maintain personnel files Minimum requirements: 2 years of Office experience 1-2 years of basic accounting experience Ability to read and write in English Some level of proficiency in Spanish is a plus (our customer base is heavily Hispanic) Tech Saavy (has no problems using a computer, knowledgable of Microsoft Office products especially Word and Excel) and knows basic Adobe (edit and create PDF's). Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, calculate percentages) Strong time management skills Must be organized and pay attention to detail Must be reliable (this is an in-office job) Great customer service skills Able to sit for long periods of time Overall a great attitude!
