Job Description

Job Summary:
The Plum City School District is seeking a positive, energetic, and self-starting Administrative Assistant to join our staff. The position is part of a team with varied and excellent skills and experience and supports students, staff, and families collaboratively along with the administrative team. Plum City is located roughly an hour from the Twin Cities and 45 minutes from Eau Claire. Located in a peaceful valley, the area is rich in outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, kayaking, and much more.
Responsibilities:
Successful candidates will: Develop positive relationships with students, staff, and families. Manage multiple tasks effectively and efficiently. Possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Assist Finance Manager with duties related to Accounts Payable, Payroll, and duties as assigned. Work collaboratively with staff and administration. Proactively anticipate issues and adapt accordingly. Pursue opportunities for professional development.
Requirements:
A minimum of a 2-year or Associate's Degree is preferred Proven office experience with strong clerical skills including filing, data entry, and document proofreading. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. successful experience in finance, accounting, bookkeeping, or other related industry including customer service. Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally and support client interactions confidently. Demonstrated computer literacy with technical proficiency in office management tools and multi-line phone systems. Personal assistant experience or previous front desk responsibilities will be considered an asset.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
