Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our team with a variety of essential office functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong computer literacy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role involves direct client and phone communication, as well as proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets, ensuring smooth daily operations within our office environment. Klinger's shop is a family-owned business that encompasses a Welding, repair and Fabrication shop, Towing/Recovery and Mobil service. The company employs 9 people. The administrative assistant is vital to keep project records organized, document parts inventory and manage day to day billing. Hours can be flexible for the right individual. Duties Manage customer communication, providing professional and timely responses to inquiries Handle phone communication, screening calls and directing them appropriately Prepare, edit, and format documents using word processing software Create and maintain spreadsheets for data tracking and reporting purposes Perform general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and scheduling appointments Assist with multi-tasking responsibilities while maintaining a high level of attention to detail Practice effective time management to meet deadlines and prioritize workload Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and external contacts to facilitate smooth operations Experience Previous experience in an office environment is preferred Proven ability to handle customer communication professionally Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting Demonstrated organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Pay:
$15.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per weekBenefits:
