Through May 2027, with potential opportunities for assignment extensions and placement on future projects Position Overview Summit Skilled Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support operations at an active natural gas compressor station construction project in Littleton, WV . This position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate project records, processing employee timekeeping, and providing administrative support to field management and project personnel. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience working in construction, industrial, energy, oil & gas, or similar project-based environments is preferred. Administrative Assistant Key Responsibilities Collect, review, and accurately enter employee and contractor timesheets into the Vista system. Track labor hours and verify time records for accuracy and completeness. Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly workforce reporting as required by project management. Assist with payroll-related documentation and timekeeping inquiries. Create, update, and maintain project spreadsheets, logs, and reports using Microsoft Excel. Prepare and organize project files, employee records, and administrative documentation. Support project managers, superintendents, and field personnel with administrative tasks. Manage electronic and hard-copy filing systems to ensure documentation is organized and accessible. Coordinate communication between field personnel, project management, and corporate staff. Assist with onboarding paperwork and project-related documentation as needed. Maintain confidentiality of employee, payroll, and project information. Perform general office duties including data entry, document preparation, copying, scanning, and correspondence management. Support project reporting and documentation requirements while ensuring compliance with company procedures. Administrative Assistant Qualifications Previous administrative assistant, project administrator, payroll clerk, or office support experience preferred. Experience working in construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or oil & gas environments is a plus. Familiarity with Vista software is preferred but not required. Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Microsoft Excel (required) Microsoft Word Microsoft Outlook Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced project environment. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Professional demeanor and ability to interact effectively with employees, supervisors, and clients. Preferred Experience Construction payroll or timekeeping administration. Project-based administrative support. Labor tracking and reporting. Working knowledge of contractor workforce management processes.
