Job Description

Ohio Valley Counseling is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Administrative Office Assistant to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a fast-paced office environment, and takes pride in providing exceptional customer service. Position Summary The Administrative Office Assistant serves as one of the first points of contact for clients and helps ensure the daily operations of our counseling practice run smoothly. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Primary Responsibilities Welcome clients and visitors in a warm, professional manner. Check clients in for appointments and assist with front desk operations. Answer phones, respond to general inquiries, and direct calls appropriately. Schedule new client appointments and assist with appointment coordination. Update and maintain electronic client charts accurately and promptly. Print reports and prepare office documents as requested. Prepare and process mailings and other correspondence. Assist the Clinical Director with creating and organizing marketing materials. Provide administrative support to therapists and office staff. Help maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming office environment. Perform other administrative duties as assigned to support the practice. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous administrative, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism. Experience in a healthcare or behavioral health setting is a plus. Desired Qualities Friendly and compassionate demeanor. Dependable and punctual. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently. Team-oriented and willing to assist wherever needed. Strong problem-solving skills and positive attitude.
Schedule Part-time Hours:

Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
