Job Description:
Insight Global is looking for an Office Support Specialist to work in the Lutz/Wesley Chapel area of Tampa, FL , at a reputable utilities engineering company . Must be comfortable performing both front-office and back-office duties in an engineering office environment. This a 4 month contract-to-hire, meaning you will be converted full time (which includes PTO, Holiday Pay, etc.) after 4 months!
Job Summary:
This role is an office administrative role supporting power utilities engineering office personnel. The office is very established but still growing rapidly. This person will report to the Office Manager, who oversees all of the Florida offices, and will assist with any and all office tasks within the Lutz office. These include, but are not limited to, office supply management, inventory ordering, stocking, fleet management, mileage tracking, event planning/coordination, arranging travel, equipment management, vendor communication and understanding office operations. This candidate should be able to work independently and collaboratively while running the office with little supervision. We are looking for someone who is eager, independent, and energetic to spearhead communication and present ideas.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work 40 hours a week IN OFFICE, typical office hours (such as M-F 8am-5pm, but offers flexibility) High School Diploma/GED or higher Minimum 2 years of office administrative related experience in an office environment Experience with and ability to perform duties such as greeting and directing visitors, phone & email communications, vendor/client communication, office supply management, inventory ordering, stocking, event planning/coordination, etc. Experience with engineering and/or construction related duties such as fleet management, mileage tracking, etc. is a plus but not required Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically PowerPoint & Excel). Additional Excel skill such as v-lookups, pivot tables, spreadsheet creation, etc. are a plus but not required Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities - being able to collaborate with and identify the needs of an office and the employees
