Excellent customer service skills. Effective written and oral communication. Attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.?? Maintain confidentiality. Attend work on a prompt and regular basis. Maintain satisfactory and harmonious working relationships with the public, students, and other employees.
JOB SUMMARY
The Office Clerk assists with management of the office by answering telephones, greeting guests, and assisting with office duties. The essential functions as shown below represent only the key areas of responsibility; specific position requirements will vary depending on the needs of the district.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Answer incoming phone calls and take messages. Sort and deliver incoming mail and faxes. Maintain upkeep and orders for the postage machine. Make copies for office and staff; print and update teacher substitute folders. Order supplies for the main office, teacher's workroom, and related office spaces and equipment. Run reports as scheduled or requested. Maintain and update documents such as program lists or staff phone list as needed. Copy and distribute weekly bulletins for staff. Other duties, as assigned.
