Accurate Biometrics:

Fingerprint Technician (Full-Time)

Location:

Itasca, IL (Corporate Office)

Schedule:

Full-time, Monday

•Friday, 8:00 AM

•4:00

PM Compensation:

$18.50

•$19.24 per hour

About Accurate Biometrics:

Accurate Biometrics is a family-owned business and the largest computerized fingerprinting service in Illinois, dedicated to protecting our communities. We provide essential non-criminal fingerprinting services for various state agencies, school districts, and professionals such as bus drivers, teachers, and nurses, supporting their pre-employment and licensing requirements. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Fingerprint Technician.

Job Summary:

As a Fingerprint Technician, you will be on the front lines, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of fingerprint submissions crucial for public safety and professional licensing. You will interact directly with our diverse customer base, guide them through the fingerprinting process, and operate our advanced biometric technology. This role is vital in helping us protect our communities through innovative and reliable fingerprint solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction:

Greet and assist customers, answer questions, and provide clear guidance on fingerprinting requirements based on their specific needs.

Payment Processing:

Accurately collect and process payments for services rendered.

Fingerprint Capture:

Operate high-tech computerized fingerprinting equipment to capture clear and accurate digital fingerprints.

Data Entry & Transmission:

Utilize our secure computer program to accurately enter customer data and securely transmit fingerprints via high-speed internet.

Administrative Support:

Assist our Customer Service team with various administrative tasks, including auditing technician paperwork & CMS discrepancies, State and FBI reporting.

Qualifications:

Proven customer service focus with the ability to manage customer interactions efficiently. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong multi-tasking abilities. Proficient and accurate computer/keyboarding skills. The ability to successfully pass a state and federal background check is mandatory. Excellent communication skills in English (required).
