Job Description
Job Summary The on-call clerical position at the Public Safety Training Complex (PSTC) involves general clerical duties including answering in-coming telephone calls, directing students and visitors to various classrooms and College resources as needed, and processing payroll records for Continuing Education Special Programs at the PSTC. The on-call clerical staff must be able to maintain filing systems, including computer files and prepare written documentation utilizing correct sentence structure, grammar, spelling and punctuation. Required Qualifications 1. Some college credits related to business. 2. Experience in an office setting. 3. Proficiency with using standard office technology (phones, copier/printer, computers, etc.). 4. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 5. Ability to work independently and with others. 6. Detail-oriented. Preferred Qualifications 1. Associate degree in related field.
