$37,851•$41,856

Qualifications:

Graduation from high school Two years of clerical experience, including typing (minimum 40 wpm)

Job Duties:

Handle email, mail, phone calls and visitors Oversee student registration, screening, enrollment & placement, disenrollment Create memos, reports, forms, spreadsheets, presentations, etc. Data entry and other general office tasks If interested, please apply by May 17, 2026. IMPORTANT

This is a provisional appointment. In order to become a permanent employee, the successful candidate will need to take the Nassau County Civil Service Typist Clerk exam when offered, and be reachable once the list is established. The exam is open only to individuals who have resided in Nassau County for at least one year preceding the date of the exam, and who maintain Nassau County residency until appointed from the eligible list.
